Monday morning kicked off with a book character/pirate dress up parade. Many students came to school with big smiles as they showed off their favourite book character/pirate. There was a buzz in the air as students lined up in the hall for all to see! Congratulations to Matty in Year 4 for winning a prize for the best dressed. Thank you for your wonderful effort in making this a memorable Book Week.
Competitions
We have one final Book Week competition. This is our Read like a Pirate competition which will take place in the library next Tuesday afternoon between 1.15-1.45pm. Students who would like to participate can pop into the library with their book and have a go at putting on their best pirate impression whilst reading. A prize will be awarded to the student with the best pirate impression.
Premier’s Reading Challenge
Congratulations to Madeline in year 1 for completing her Premier’s Reading Challenge. Well done! The challenge closed on Friday 31st August. A big congratulations to all of our students who participated. Certificates will be given out in term 4.
