We are truly blessed by a committed and effective P&F Association at St Martin’s, who work with us to provide a quality-learning experience for our children and develop a strong sense of belonging and connectedness in our community.
St Martin’s P&F primary goal is to support a welcoming and friendly School Community. We aim to do this by:
- partnering with our Diocesan Parent Council to provide information and seminars to support families with their child’s education
- providing social events for families to connect, mingle and make new friends and
- raising of funds to support our School’s Improvement Plan and educational resources.
Each year our P&F committee teams, with the assistance of our Class Parent Co-ordinators, organise some fabulous events to strengthen and build our community, such as:
- Welcome BBQ
- Parent social events e.g. Trivia Nights / Dinner Dances / Mother’s and Father’s Day events
- Kids social events e.g. Movie / Disco / Games nights
- Sporting and PE Events
- Bunnings Band BBQs
- Meal help for families in need
- Footy Tipping
- Grounds / working bee days
- Book club fundraisers
Each term the P&F meets to hear from our Principal, parent committees and review progress to our plans. The P&F meetings are very social events, are well attended and its a fabulous way for parent’s to find out what is happening in our wonderful School. In Term 4, the P&F meeting is followed by the Annual General Meeting. It is at this meeting that the Executive Team [President, Vice President, Treasurer, DPC Rep and Secretary] and various committee members are elected for the following year.
Over the past few years our P&F Team’s fundraising efforts have proudly supported the School’s Improvement Plan in providing a multipurpose court, Smart boards and air-conditioning in every classroom, iPADs/ computers for learning, musical instruments for band and literary resources for the library.
Our P&F team thrives on the energy and generosity of our parent volunteers’ time. There are activities or roles even for those with very little time but who would still like to be involved, parent’s can choose a once off activity throughout the year or choose to be part of an on going committee. There are many ways in which you can make a difference to your child’s experience at school.
Please feel free to contact our P&F Executive Team on firstname.lastname@example.org with suggestions, comments or questions.

Ever wondered how you can help?
Would you like to be part of a particular team on the P&F?
In the spirit of “Many hands make light work”, this year we asked Parents if they could nominate for ‘Just One Thing’ over the year that they would like to help with.
